Coffee isn't complicated. It is a simple pleasure. It helps me focus. It helps me center. Everything in excess is bad. In moderation coffee is a good thing.

Can't argue with that Rev. But I still think that if we are addicted, even if it is an addiction under control or limited to one cup a day, it is still not good or what God wants for us. Slavery is not of God, but freedom is. The reason why coffee, which has NO nutritional value, is such a cash cow is precisely because 9 times out of 10 drinkers are getting hooked on it. And let's be honest, coffee tastes horrible -- unless its bitter taste is offset and masked by yummy cream and sugar.

Not addiction or enslavement of my will. Just a tonic for me to focus, nothing more. I drink like 2 - 3 cups a day max.
