I have a dear friend in Greece who has two boys. The youngest developed JA when he was 2 years old. That was 5 years ago. The older one is 8 or 9 and has now developed JA. He was very active in sports, especially soccer. He never had a problem until now. As you may well understand, she is devastated. Could vaccines be the cause? They have no history of arthritis in their family history. I will write to her and ask her to review what vaccines they were given. Is this a hit and miss situation? We've all had vaccines and not everyone reacts the same way. I have a cousin, who is now 51 who became autistic at 2 years old. He was a completely normal infant before that. His two younger brothers didn't develop anything and neither did I. My aunt believes that it was the vaccine that caused it.
