Wise Men's gifts to Christ displayed in Moscow 'till 1/13/14

Post by Maria »

Not sure where to post this news. It is amazing to read that these Holy Gifts to the Infant Jesus have survived the Roman and Islamic Persecutions.

Gifts of Wise Men to newborn Jesus to be displayed in Moscow till Jan 13

The Gifts have left the Agiou Pavlou (St. Paul's) monastery on Mount Athos in Greece for the first time since the 15th century. ...
The relics will be displayed at Moscow's Christ the Saviour Cathedral, which will be open of believers daily from 08:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. till January 13.

Oh wow ! I am very, very interested in this news.
Thank you, Maria. I knew they were in St Paul's Monastery at Mt Athos and have been since the 1400s.
But I never expected them to sent abroad anywhere.
I wish i could venerate them !
