Mr. Pürstl has offered good advice. With a volatile European situation, in which women have already been molested or raped, young ladies do need to be much more careful.

I remember the days of old when I was a youth. Even then, we were encouraged never to venture out alone, but always to be in the company of other women or be escorted by a trusted relative. Perhaps there are more assaults because modern liberated women have abandoned good traditional customs, such as having parents pre-approve any man who is interested in courting them. It is sad that the traditional courtship is no longer done. Instead, women date strangers who are not perfect in any sense of the word.

I had not heard anything about the situation in Central Europe, thanks for posting the thread.
I have to read the entire article to get a sense of the problem, though.

Well, as for courting, you know that wonderful tradition has disappeared in Western societies, probably at all age levels.Not only amongst the young.

Now younger women are so 'liberated' that they chase after men. Some are very devoid of morals, and proud, considering that to be 'cool'.
Also, parents these days often are some sort of drug addicts or unable to attend to the welfare of their offspring, if there ARE even 2 parents, which is seemingly rare. Thus they are unable to exert any restraint on dating rules for their daughters. It would never enter the minds of the parents to intervene. Often, they are too immersed in their own problems, or else fear the youth would ridicule them for exerting even mild pressure to obey sensible rules.

It actually seems to me that the message should be "Don't venture out onto Internet "dating sites' - or do so at your own serious risk ".

For that is the source of infinitely more trauma and troubles through the meeting of unscrupulous strangers than setting foot on the Ringstrasse. Or on the Kurfurstendam in Berlin.

There needs to be a revival of real culture and morals and godliness-based etiquette. A revival of Orthodox Religion would do immeasurable good towards protecting women and making our cities and children and young people safe.
