Re: Bad Joke
Why do the French eat snails?
(scroll down)
They do not like fast food.
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
Re: Bad Joke
Oh I just got that! I am slower than a snail to understand jokes.
Here is an extract from a mid-19th century sermon. While not a joke at all, there is an element of humor in it while teaching a deep lesson to not idly call people devils. And to guard every single word we utter.
"There once lived a landowner well respected for his steady living who, returning one day from a journey, called his servant in a very offhand manner, saying to him: "Here, you, you old devil of a valet ! Come and get my boots off -"
Immediately the man's footwear began to draw themselves off without anyone touching them.
The landowner was absolutely terrified and started to cry out : "Go away, Satan ! It wasn't you I called, but my valet !"
So much did this man cry out that the Devil fled there and then leaving the landowner's boots half pulled off.
This instance shows us how closely the Devil hovers around us, waiting to cheat us and cause us to lose our souls whenever the opportunity presents itself."

Re: Bad Joke
Two hydrogen atoms walk into a bar.
One says, “I’ve lost an electron.”
The other says, “Are you sure?”
The first replies, “Yes, I’m positive…”
Don't believe anything those atoms say.
They make up everything!
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
