St Thomas Becket Mass celebrated at...Canterbury Cathedral

Here is a little snippet of the Mass but enough to show the grandeur of this [perhaps] historic occasion

I am not sure whether this has previously been permitted or not by the Anglican usurpers of this ancient all-important Cathedral for English Orthodox and Catholics

Some people seem to think it's the 1st Mass since the reign of Queen Mary of England in the 1550s ; others say that A Mass is celebrated every year for this Feast, and also for St Thomas Becket's martrydom day, December 29. Though the latter is only vespers.

It seems that the Papal Nuncio to Great Britain officiated at this Mass for the 1st time, though. [See about 29 minutes at the link below]

Plus the scale of the Mass was much larger than previously.

At the end, the congregation sang the Salve Regina.
