It's not a big deal to start a PayPal account. It can help for other transactions, too, when your credit card is not accepted. Like sometimes one of the 3 main companies' cards is not allowed for some weird reason [probably the high fees some of the companies charge the merchant]

So i would recommend you try that if at all possible for you.

You know, even a small donation of a tiny amount shows the Cat Shelter manager and all the readers that yet another person is rooting for the cause !

In short, it's a morale boost as well as practical assistance.

Thank you for elaborating but i still don't QUITE get the meaning.

It's just I - I am not alert, I guess, to the contemporary style of talking.
It took awhile to get used to the way people write these weird things like

"Nothing to see here" - ?? <Does it mean what was said is not startling ?
"Nothing burger" - < that one I really hate as it sounds so strange to someone not used to modern expressions

I had one for many years, along with an Amazon account. After learning how Paypal was de-platforming conservatives and of Amazon's horrendous business practices along with their woke ideology, I chose to give them both up. Usually you can make purchases through Paypal or donate as a guest, and I have done that many times. It doesn't really make sense that they aren't allowing it this time. If this person were to set-up an account on GiveSendGo or such like then I would be pleased to assist.

Just another example of why I do not want to do business with them. I realize that we have to make trade offs in so many areas of life, but I kind of drew a line in the sand with them both.
