That is not a question that can be easily answered. I couldn't possibly come up with a specific date. One would assume it's a long process and didn't happen overnight. All I can do is share snippets from Orthodox sources that fill in a few pieces of the puzzle. Hieromartyr Andronik of Perm wrote in 1907 that France was completely in the hands of the Masons. So we know that the Freemasons can control entire countries.
Fr. George (Grabbe) wrote around 1943:
"The history of nineteenth century Europe is actually a history of growing Jewish influence in it, to the extent that Jews in the first third of the XX century held all European nations, socially, politically and spiritually in their power."
Fr. George (later Bishop Gregory) said "all" European nations.
St. Nikolaj of Serbia said the Jews as a minority, rule over the world.
St. Nikolaj gave a eulogy at the funeral of Dimitrije Ljotić, which was presided by the Patriarch of Serbia.

So, it's pretty clear that studying the modus operandi of Judaeo-Masonry should be given the most attention, which is what I've done for more than two decades.
Obviously, Hollywood and the media is thoroughly dominated by Jews and Freemasons, who serve the devil, and they have been tasked by their master with using the media and Hollywood productions to indoctrinate and propagandize the masses, in order to prepare hearts and minds to accept Antichrist.
I don't think it's possible or even necessary to pinpoint a particular date in history. It's enough to recognize that the phenomenon is pervasive, permeating the entire world.
