Such unhelpful and pastorally inept statements only serve two purposes, I believe. First, it gives a false assurance and only serves to undermine the very thing he claims to uphold. Second, it underscores the fact that he leads those who listen to him away from The Truth.

However benign he may appear to some, he demonstrates only his true antecedents.
