The study in question was done at a St Constantine College, a tiny "pan-Orthodox" private college in Houston. It was said to have been done by an "institute" at the college, but given that the college's average cohort size is 15, there must only be about 60 undergraduates and not much budget for scholarly institutes. I have a hunch that the "institute's" study was actually an undergraduate homework assignment, perhaps a group project. (A sample size of 20 parishes would be a pretty feeble effort for an academic institute, but about right for a modest homework assignment.)

For orthochristian.com to trumpet the results of such a small study suggests that it was a slow news day and/or they're desperately grasping for some good news about world Orthodoxy's future.

These must be difficult years to be working in the MP's ministry of truth. But I grant that orthochristian.com's propaganda is quite subtle when compared to the utterly ham-fisted stuff at russian-faith.com.
