Sorry I didn't see this until now.
This group calling themselves the GOC is not under kyr. Kallinikos (the group in communion with you), nor is it under the synod of the GOC (our synod).
This group was founded in the mid '80's by three of our former heirarchs: Auxentios (the President of the Synod), Gerasimos, and Maximos, who together consecrated to the Royal Priesthood a former new-calendarist "priest", who was deposed by the new-calendarists for homosexuality. When the Synod heard reports of this they began an investigation and when they made inquiries to these Bishops, they lied to the Synod. After the lies were uncovered, they were asked to appear before the synod and explain themselves, they never showed up after numerous attempts to clear things up.
Thus, you have another group calling themsevles the GOC. This particular monastery is under Hieromonk Father Lawrence.
All of this is a complete scandal to the faithful - but what can we do, ignore this type of activity? Satan is certainly scoring some hits, and the bases are loaded. Fortunatley though, we already know the final score!
