read my post again-It is recommended a Priest Bless them, but if unable to find a Priest you will need Holy Water...

Terry, ask a priest to bless them.

Spiridon, Terry is not Orthodox and she hasn't said anything about the difficulty of finding a priest, so no, in this case, she shouldn't be trying to bless her own icons. She could ask her husband for help with this sort of thing, but according to her discription, he doesn't put stock in holy things of the church.
