The resting place of threads that were very valid in 2004, but not so much in 2024. Basically this is a giant historical archive.

One hopes that the Forum owner is alright. He hasn't posted here in some days.

But you may be right, Katya.

Christ is in our midst!
Good post Ektarina! I have the same feelings here lately. I have been spending an increasing amount of time at orthodoxy.net rather than here and I am among the growing number that don't even click on posts by anyone with a persistent Crankydox slant. I am embarassed for anyone coming here with a genuine interest in Orthodoxy, thinking it might be the Pearl of Great Price, only to have mud thrown in their faces. May God heal the damage that is being done to His cause by this fevered zeal without compassion!
In Christ,
Rd. David

Particularly, Reader David, when the lack of compassion is justified as being actually "loving" because the writer claims that rudeness and derision are what non-EO or other EO who do not agree really need to hear/read. Sigh.
