Does this not describe the relationship of Old Calendarism to Orthodoxy as a whole?
Monothelitism, in its time, was rejected by a majority of Orthodox Christian hierarchs. In this day, when a similar conflict arises, I'd seek the majority opinion, whatever it may be.
